The shape and orientation of Recharge House are inspired by the features of the property and a desire to create a seamless connection between the indoor space and the surrounding nature. The architecture has a special emphasis on how closeness to water, wind, open sky and natural light can bring peace and harmony to the mind.
The house consists of the main house and an annex. The surrounding terraces connect the two buildings and offer sheltered seating almost no matter which direction the wind is coming from.
The main house features an open living area with a fireplace, kitchen and dining area and a spectacular master bedroom. On the southern part of the main house is a bathroom from which there is access to a “hidden” terrace with an outside shower.
This is also where the “green sauna” is located. The sauna is green because of the large window facing the “wilderness” close to the south side of the building. The annex is located east of the main house and has two amazing bedrooms and a bathroom.

The Wehlers design furniture
We offer Wehlers, sustainable design furniture. All are made with recycled or sustainably sourced materials and based on the circular economy. Wehlers insist that their furniture is repaired, reused and recycled during and after "end of life cycle."
The Mayan Green Madras
We offer Bedre Nætter's Mayan Green mattress and top mattress. They are the only certified 100% organic, CO2 neutral products of its kind on the market. Both mattress and top mattress are upholstered in Tencel-material, which is 100% degradable.
The Tekla bedding and towels
We offer TEKLA's Organic-Cotton Percale bedding and Organic Terry Towel. The bedding is made from organic cotton, and OEKO-TEX labeled it is stonewashed to enhance it's natural soft- and crispness. The towels are made from high-quality organic, and OEKO-TEX certified terry cotton.
The Gentle duvets and pillows
We offer Bedre Nætter’s 'Nænsom' ("Gentle") duvet and pillow, which are Swan-labeled and made from 100 % organic cotton. The filling is of the most excellent Danish musk dune, and Downpass and Downafresh certified. All fabric is organic and labeled OEKO-TEX.
